Scientiae Magister (MS)

I completed the Master of Science in Computer Science at  The University of Illinois Springfield in May 2013 with a Systems Security and Information Assurance concentration, allowing me to continue professional development in my current career.

Baccalaureate (BS)

I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science Summa Cum Laude (3.973 / 4.0) at The University of Illinois Springfield in May 2011 with a concentration in Systems Security and Information Assurance

I attended Illinois State University from 1982 through 2006, in the School of Information Technology (formerly Applied Computer Science).  I also pursued a BS in Geography in the Geography department.  I was able to transfer a substantial number of credit hours from both ISU and Heartland to UIS.

I am currently pursuing a Linux/Unix System Administration Certificate from the O'Reilly School of Technology (in partnership with the University of Illinois Office of Continuing Education).

Associate in Science (AS)

I earned an Associate of Science degree at Heartland Community College in 2007.

During my Geography studies, I researched the Geography of the Sequatchie Valley in Tennessee for my Physical Geography class.  My research has been cited in other works, so I have kept the pages active separately.
